Amoretti Brothers is introducing engraved copper cookware, a copper mini bell for a place
setting and a new style of paella pan. Amoretti
pans are made, exclusively by hand, in Mexico,
using sheets of copper up to 1/10-inch thick,
fire-forged and hammered to the desired
shape. Some cookware is engraved by hand
to give a fancy look to the pot. The all-bronze,
handcrafted and individually polished handles
are secured to the pans with strong rivets to
ensure perfect functionality. The pots are lined
entirely by hand. To do this, they are heated
to about 300 degrees Celsius, the melting
temperature of tin, and a thick layer of tin is
spread all over the base and sides. Only virgin
tin is used.
