Casabella and Nice-Pak Partner to Offer Advanced Quick Clean Floorcare Technology
anything he had previously seen. The mop was a basic item, but was
well-designed and made with high-quality materials. Kaminstein was
inspired, felt he had a winner and decided to buy a 20-foot container of
this mop and take his chances with it back in the United States. From
this very humble beginning, Casabella was born and has been designing smart, creative and award-winning cleaning tools, kitchen, bath, and
organizing products ever since.
Headquartered in Rockland County, N.Y., Casabella products can be
purchased at retail stores throughout the United States, Europe, Asia,
Australia and South America.
Founded in 1957, Nice-Pak’s first product was the Original Wet Nap®
used at Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants. Since then, the company
has grown into the world’s leading manufacturer of wet wipes, producing over 100 billion wet wipes each year in over 2. 5 million square feet
of manufacturing space. Nice-Pak offers optimal solutions for most
cleaning applications around the house. Not only do its wipes make
disinfecting a breeze, they are manufactured efficiently for the value-conscious consumer.
Casabella Holdings LLC and Nice-Pak Products Inc. have partnered to
offer a new generation of quick clean floorcare products. Casabella, an
industry leader in premium, high-quality cleaning and kitchen products,
and Nice-Pak, the leading manufacturer of wet wipes in the world,
unveiled the new Quick Clean floorcare collection at the IHA show in
Chicago last month.
The two companies combined their unique strengths to create stronger,
better-performing, more intuitively easy to use products. “We have
been working with Nice-Pak for over a year to develop a collection that
uses both our expertise in stick and smallware design, and their vast
experience in wipes,” said Bruce Kaminstein, CEO of Casabella. “This
partnership, a first for Casabella, has netted what we believe to be a
product line that is greater than the sum of its parts. To enter a new
category in cleaning, especially a category dominated by one brand,
you have to create a product that does a better job in every way. Casabella’s design team created a more durable stick and more versatile
cleaning heads that solve problems not yet addressed by the current
leading products. Nice-Pak created Grime Boss, a unique line of dry
and wet wipes.”
According to Robert Julius, CEO of Nice-Pak, the partnership with
Casabella is a natural fit. “Both Nice-Pak and Casabella are established
leaders in our respective categories – together we have developed new
technologies that function in tandem to provide a new level of cleaning
performance for the Quick Clean floorcare category,” said Julius. “This
market represents a huge opportunity for retailers with customers
seeking superior product design, performance and value.”
The first Casabella Quick Clean products are the core items: Quick
Sweep™ wet and dry disposable cloth sweeper, Quick Scrub™ double-sided microfiber spray mop, Grime Boss® Sweeper Cloths, Grime
Boss® Wet Sweeper Cloths, Quick Scrub™ Microfiber Refill Pads and
Quick Scrub™ Refillable Bottles.
The companies launched a trade advertising and consumer promotional
campaign in March.
