This holiday season, consumers will have the opportunity to support
improved nutrition in America’s schools with Black Diamond Cheddar
cheese. DCI Cheese Company (DCI) will donate 25 cents from every
Black Diamond package purchased throughout the Nov. 1 to Dec. 31
initiative to Action for Healthy Kids.
Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) is the nation’s leading nonprofit and
largest volunteer network working with schools and families to fight
childhood obesity and undernourishment. Since its 2002 founding,
AFHK has partnered with schools nationwide to provide programs and
services that improve nutrition in schools, and increase opportunities
for kids to be active.
“Black Diamond cheese is high
in protein and provides the essential calcium and vitamins
required for a healthy diet,” said
Katie Jury, marketing manager
at DCI. “Supporting Action for
Healthy Kids and their promotion
of healthy eating and physical
activity was a natural fit for us.”
In-store shelf-talkers featuring
coupons can be found in participating retailers throughout the
promotion. Additional details
about the Black Diamond®
“Feel Good about Doing Good!”
promotion are available at
along with recipes, beverage
pairings and a downloadable
coupon. The total amount
donated to Action for Healthy
Kids will be announced in late
January 2012. For more information on DCI Cheese Company and its portfolio of brands,

A new dynamic brand identity campaign will begin this month as Click
Clack Limited changes its name to Innova Products Limited, reflecting
the company’s strategic focus to create new products and marketing
for its key product lines.
The change is in name only, company ownership remaining unchanged.
The new name will enable Innova to effectively market the company’s
diverse range of brands – ClickClack (premium food storage) and
Strahl (beverageware and serveware) – with innovation being the key
strategic driver going forward. Outside of the United States, Innova
also manufactures and distributes four other brands: Dixbro, Brushworks, Talus and Prolon.

The International Housewares Association (IHA) has partnered with
Good360, an organization that distributes donated products through
nonprofit charities, to simplify the process of making donations from
IHA members to help victims of natural disasters.
Through this effort, IHA and Good360 are combining to help members
donate these products, including the assessment of what housewares
items are needed to support victims of recent natural disasters in the
United States. Companies’ donations may be tax deductible. Good360,
formerly known as Gifts in Kind International, works with a variety
of organizations to provide help to rebuilding communities, including
more than 30 community redistribution partners that help break down
large quantities of products. The organization also supports job training
programs, churches, Head Start programs, Boys and Girls Clubs,
YMCAs and other organizations.
Housewares companies that would like to donate products can find
more information at good360.org, or by contacting Ginny Costello of
IHA at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 847-692-0114.
