Jukrocha is the best premium handmade
Korean tea from Hadong province, and is
known as the “king’s green tea.” After the
green tea leaves are freshly picked under
the bamboo trees that are grown in the
clean estate, they undergo a process called
traditional stir-frying method (an iron pot
is pre-heated to about 300 to 350 degrees
and the tea leaves are poured into the pot
and heated quickly and thoroughly in order
to neutralize the enzymes thus preventing
oxidation and softening the fiber to allow the
tea’s flavor components to be released). This
tea is characteristic of the master Korean
teamaker, the Cho Tae-Yeon family, with its
deep layered flavors and smooth finish.
