his own new tea venture: Smith full-leaf tea blends and varietals
are handcrafted by Steven Smith, teamaker, in very small batches
using exquisite ingredients provided by friends around the world.
His generous, relaxed-fit sachets come individually wrapped – and
craftily concealed – in a handsome string-tie box designed to
make your customers slightly loopy. Each carton
contains 15 sachets of full-leaf teas or infusions
– green, white, black or herbal blends and vari-
etals. The batch number on each carton, when
entered into Smith’s Web site, will detail when
and who blended and packed the tea, and most
importantly, when and where each ingredient
used in that particular carton was sourced.
