Maxwell & Williams Debuts at Spring Tabletop Market &
Maxwell & Williams’ new Forty One
Madison showroom will be unveiled
during the New York Tabletop
Show® in April. The vast array of
products that comprise the line’s
debut are expected to be available
at retail in the summer of this year.
Maxwell & Williams will be distributed in the United States by
Fitz and Floyd, which has more
than 50 years of experience in the
American tabletop business. Three
product categories – tableware,
bakeware and gadgets – have been
selected for initial entry into the
U.S. homewares industry. Within
these three categories are the
distinct lines from the Maxwell &
Williams portfolio: White Basics
tableware, Cashmere bone china,
Motion tableware, Microstoven
bakeware and Maxi gadgets. These
distinctive collections offer consumers a multitude of products, covering
the table more comprehensively
than ever before.
“The aspirational yet affordable
nature of this brand will resonate
strongly with American consumers,”
said Max Grundmann, managing
director of H.A.G. Import Corpora-
tion, which owns Maxwell &
Williams. “This is a brand that
is as much about people as it is
about products, and it will give
American consumers an unrivaled
product mix at price points that
allow for everyday luxury for all.”
He went on to say that, “The in-
tegrity, efficiency and passion of
the Maxwell & Williams brand have
driven our success in Australia and
beyond, and these global values
will be harbingers of prosperity
in the American market as well.
While the tabletop and homewares
industries are highly competitive,
the Maxwell & Williams mantra –
RIOS (range is our salvation) – will
give us a distinct advantage in
the marketplace. After all, turning
adversity into opportunity has been
a cornerstone of our business from
the beginning.”
