It’s a Wrap!
Retailers and vendors will discover a new
world of media and education at Gourmet
Business’ booth S2086 in the South Hall
of Chicago’s McCormick place next month.
GB is celebrating independent specialty
retail at the International Home +
Housewares Show March 6-8, 2011 with
education and merchandising displays.
Award-winning gift basket designers
Tom and Pam Newell will be appearing
at the GB booth to demonstrate the art
of gift baskets throughout the three-day
show. The Newell’s have been on the
advisory board for Gift Basket Review,
Columbus Gift Mart, Country Life, ACES,
Columbus Retail Association, Trends and
Tips Magazine, Gift Basket Association, and
more. With frequent television appearances
and news articles written about them, they
keep their focus on retail, coffee & tea, and
the gift basket industry, and will continue
earning accolades and awards from a host
of business organizations.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting educational
events at our booth,” Gourmet Business
publisher David Spencer noted. “Our
activities at the International Home +
Housewares Show brings us a step closer
to the interactive educational resource
that is the Gourmet Business mission.”
Another facet of the Gourmet Business
booth presentation is a merchandising
product focus. Vendors have been invited
to submit product that will be included in
specialty displays designed for the show.
Each display will focus on a theme that fits
perfectly into the merchandising concept
of independent retailers. From barbeque to
barware to breakfast, the GB team – along
with assistance from select retailers – will
develop inspiring displays at the GB booth.
