Operations of Kai USA Ltd., manufacturer of Shun cutlery, hired Scott
Zahm as the West Coast Regional
Sales Manager, reporting to Kurt
Zanner, VP of the Houseware
Division, effective immediately.
This position is not new but has
been recently unfilled.
Scott has worked in sales for
nearly 25 years, much of that in
housewares and with key accounts.
“We’re thrilled to have him join
our team and expect he will grow
our business, continue to build
relationships and to continue to
work to meet our goal of offering
excellent customer service,” said
Mr. Igarashi.
Zahm has worked in a number
of sales management positions
at KitchenAid Portable Appliances,
most recently as a senior account
manager.
KAI Corporation, a family-owned
company located in Seki City,
Japan, celebrated its 100th
anniversary in 2008. It is privately
held and is run by Mr. Koji Endo, the
third generation to run the company.
KAI is a major manufacturer and
distributor of disposable razors,
surgical tools, personal care
products and housewares in Japan.
In the United States, KAI has
established several brand names
all controlled by the Kai USA run
by Igarashi. The brands managed
by Kai USA, Ltd. are Shun cutlery
and housewares, Kershaw sporting
knives and Zero Tolerance military
knives.
